Golden Hour with these puppies was absolute magic!
I often hear the saying, “don’t every work with children or pets”, but I truly love my job because I get to work with children and pets! There’s no doubt that Pet Photography is a whole different ball game but working with both children and animals makes every day look beautiful if you take a moment to see life through their lens! My approach to Pet Photography is no different to my approach for Family Photography.
This photoshoot was all play and no posing, but I adore the floppy ears and the long, lanky legs in all directions in every image and we had the most fun trying absolutely everything to get the boys to “pose” for just one slightly more formal portrait.
The golden hour backlit light accentuates all the details and shows up their playfulness even more by separating the background in these portraits.
Personally, I love the images we captured, they capture the personality of these pups perfectly and are exactly the type of images that you feel more than see.

Zina has been our go to photographer for a number of sessions now. We did a newborn package for my youngest son, a family sunset beach shoot and most recently did an extended family shoot for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. This wasn’t an easy feat with so many people but Zina made it look easy! Zina is a true professional and knows how to get the best out of the younger children. She takes a nice mix of staged and candid photos. I couldn’t recommend her enough.
The best photography experience ever. Starting with maternity shoot, we went to wrong place then Zina waited for us to arrive at the right place and was so understanding. New born shoot so patient and caring waiting to get the right photograph of our newborn. All our images from maternity shoot and newborn are amazing and forever grateful for Zina for capturing these moments.
I highly recommend Zina!!
We’ve had 3 newborn photo shoots within the last 3 years and she’s been absolutely amazing with each one especially this last one capturing 2 toddlers and a newborn together which I swear is near impossible!
